Edwin GeyerOwner / Lead DesignWith over 7 years Graphic Design experience, Edwin is the creative brain behind most of the projects that run through the studio. Proudly 100% self taught he is often found reading up on design, marketing and trying new techniques to perfect his craft. He is enthusiastic and passionate about.. well nearly everything design! His background is in branding and he has a keen eye for producing creative media which meets a clients business objectives. His attention to design and print detail has allowed Eyeful MG to work with a number of clients repeatedly over the years delivering outstanding results.

What is included in the price of Logo Design?We generally break this project down into four distinct phases:1) Research (apx. 3-8hrs)2) Logo development (apx. 20-35hrs)3) Application to media (apx. 3-5hrs)4) Provision of artwork (apx. 2-4hrs)The first phase in the logo design process is research. We take pride in understanding our clients and their competitors and acquire as much knowledge and info before we start the design process. While logo and type set styles change from year to year, it is our job as designer to build original and innovative designs that will last a lifetime.Second phase, logo development, begins with a brain-storm of ideas by our designer team to investigate lots of options from the obvious through to the ambiguous. We try as many styles as is appropriate and try to design with a multitude of styles, layouts and typefaces. Once this preliminary process is complete we will discuss the designs in-house and try to narrow the options down to three or five appropriate design options (depending on the package chosen) which we will then present to our client. The next phase (or phases), will continue the development of the logo from these preliminary ideas through to a finished, workable logo in full-colour.The third phase uses the logo design (and its text style and colour), to develop a letterhead and business card design or other forms of media.The fourth phase of developing a brand is the creation of all the necessary file types needed by a business to utilize their new brand effectively. This will often require that we provide the new logo and stationery files on a CD or ZIP document in a variety of file formats and colour derivatives that may be required throughout the lifespan of the design.This foundation work is often enough for many clients, we can of course extend our service to include elements such as market research for suitable company/brand names, the development of brand guideline documentation or the creation of a range of logos within a family.
